The Al-Si-based alloy is widely used, with more than 85% of the cast aluminum alloy, alloy smelting and formulation process is a critical factor in relationships. Among them, the silicon element is added to the crystalline silicon, which often requires an induction furnace and other equipment, and there is a problem such as crystalline silicon floating and oxidation.
In response to this problem, Shandong University has developed a fine alternating Al-50Si intermediate alloy (fine Al-50Si), which can be used to add silicon elements in the thermal stove, saving time saving.

As shown in Fig. 10-1, it is a fine-50 Si product and its micro-tissue, and the initial crystal silicon in the alloy is small, controlled below 70 μm. Add the fine crystal Al-50Si to the near eutectic Al-Si alloy, and add anti-Si \"poisoned \" AlTIC-B crystal alloy obtained by Al-18Si-Cu-Ni-Mg alloy, its primary crystal Si The average grain size is about 35 μm, the distribution is uniform, and the substantially no agglomeration is phenomenon, and the α-Al dendritic crystal is small, see Fig. 10-2.
